About Trade Notes
Why We Are Here
Trade Notes was built on the belief that finding the right support shouldn't be harder than the struggle that brought you here. Too many people enter the mental health system feeling lost — overwhelmed by options they don't fully understand, matched by algorithms that don't ask the right questions, or handed a referral with no real say in who they see. The result is years spent in therapy that don't quite fit, with goals that feel just out of reach.
We built something different. Born from years of working in community health, lived experience navigating an overwhelming system, and a deep conviction that the right connection changes everything — Trade Notes exists to bridge the gap between where you are and where you deserve to be. We take the time to understand your unique challenges, your goals, and what kind of therapeutic relationship will actually move the needle. Then we help you find it.
This is the resource we wish had always existed. We're here to help you find your way.
Clinically informed matching — Our navigation is grounded in real clinical knowledge, not just filters and keywords. We understand what specific expertise actually means for your goals.
You choose — We believe the therapeutic relationship matters as much as the approach. We help you find someone you can actually work with, not just someone who's available.
Built for the gap — We exist in the space the system forgot. Not a directory, not a referral line. Something better.
About the Founder
Meet the Tradesman's Wife
Grounded in community health. Driven by lived experience.
Hi, I'm Lili, the owner and founder of The Tradesman's Wife. I'm not only the person who answers when you reach out, but I am also a wife, a mom to 2 amazing kids (and 2 fur babies) and a devoted advocate for mental health and community. TradeSource grew out of years spent working in community health, where I saw how often the right support is the one thing standing between someone and real change — and how hard that support can be to find.
I know the other side of it too. Like so many people, I've navigated this system myself. I know what it feels like to be handed a list of names with no guidance, to wonder whether an assessment is worth the cost, and to keep searching for someone who actually understands what you're carrying.
My work now comes down to one thing: bringing clinical knowledge and lived experience together, so no one has to spend years looking for a fit that never quite comes. You deserve someone who listens to the whole story before pointing you anywhere.
